Assistant Vice President, Loan Operations
Kristen Jensen is the Assistant Vice President of Loan Operations at Ellafi Federal Credit Union, where she has contributed over 10 years of experience in the industry. Kristen’s diverse background includes a Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders from UConn and a Master’s in Severe Special Needs Education and Assistive Technology from Simmons University.
Before joining Ellafi FCU, Kristen worked as an Inclusion Facilitator in Massachusetts and as Operations Manager for a specialty peanut butter company in New York. She also spent valuable time raising her daughter while living across the Northeast, which broadened her perspective and further enriched her professional journey.
Kristen finds great fulfillment in giving back to her community, serving in a variety of volunteer roles. She has helped individuals directly in her community, assisted with large holiday events in Middletown, volunteered at a local free store, participated in Downtown Middletown cleanups, and served on commissions and nonprofit boards.
A proud Middletown native, Kristen chose to raise her daughter in the community she loves. As her daughter embarks on her high school years, Kristen enjoys taking her on both domestic and international travels, which provide invaluable opportunities to explore diverse cultures and lifestyles.
When at home, Kristen and her family enjoy hosting friends, and their Pancake Sundays have become a beloved tradition.
