Your contribution would help us:
- Launch a Deposit Matching Fund for women leaving domestic violence situations, giving them a safe financial foundation as they regain independence.
- Subsidize interest rates on Credit Builder Loans, helping women build or strengthen their credit safely and affordably.
- Subsidize certification and credentialing programs for women—especially Black and Brown women—seeking to enter STEM fields where they are significantly underrepresented.
- Expand Ellafi’s financial literacy programs to women-centered organizations across Connecticut, increasing access to essential financial tools and confidence-building education.
- Provide scholarships for young girls to attend Girls Inc. of Central Connecticut summer camps, supporting a future generation of strong, smart, and bold leaders.
We use Zeffy, a secure donation platform that allows the Foundation to receive 100% of your gift with no fees taken out. Zeffy is funded entirely by optional tips from donors—tipping is appreciated by Zeffy but never required.

Why does Ellafi Kind use Zeffy?
Zeffy covers all transaction, credit-card, and platform fees so every dollar you give directly supports local programs.
Do I have to leave a tip to Zeffy?
No. Tipping is completely optional. Many donors choose to leave a small tip to help Zeffy cover processing costs, but if you set the amount to $0, Ellafi Kind still receives your full donation.
Will I get a receipt for my donations?
Yes. Zeffy automatically emails you a donation receipt immediately after your transaction for your records.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Ellafi Kind is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible as permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor.
