Vice President, Deposit Operations
Amanda Barrett is the Vice President of Deposit Operations at Ellafi Federal Credit Union, where she has been a valued team member since 2008. Starting as a Call Center Specialist after taking time off to raise her three children, Amanda quickly advanced through several roles, managing the Call Center, Member Service, and Transactional Departments. Her hands-on experience across multiple functional areas paved the way for her promotion to VP of Deposit Operations.
While balancing work and family, Amanda returned to school to pursue a degree in Business Management, further enhancing her expertise. She is also a graduate of the Credit Union League of Connecticut Executive Management Program.
A passionate advocate for simplifying processes and making things easier for both members and colleagues, Amanda is deeply committed to empowering others, creating a positive impact, and treating everyone as an individual. She is a firm believer in the power of change and continuously strives to support it within the workplace.
Amanda is also dedicated to supporting local charities, especially those that benefit families and children, including community food drives and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
In her personal time, Amanda enjoys quiet moments at home to recharge and explore new hobbies as an empty nester, including birdwatching, flower gardening, and watercolor painting.
