Ellafi Kind Nonprofit Giveaway

Official Rules & Disclosures

1. Nomination Period: Entries will be accepted from April 27–June 18, 2026. Submissions received after this period will not be considered.
2. Eligibility to Nominate a Nonprofit: Open to all Ellafi members. Employees of Ellafi Federal Credit Union and their immediate family members are not eligible. Ellafi reserves the right to verify member eligibility and disqualify any ineligible submissions.
3. Local Nonprofit Requirements: Nominated organizations must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations doing work in the communities of Middlesex, New Haven, or Hartford counties.
4. Nomination Content: Participants must provide accurate information about the nonprofit, including name, location, and why it is important to them. Submissions should be the original work of the participant. Ellafi reserves the right to disqualify any submission that is incomplete, inaccurate, or does not comply with these Official Rules & Disclosures.
5. Selection of Winners: Five (5) local nonprofits will be selected at Ellafi Kind’s discretion. One winner will be chosen each Friday in July 2026 (July 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31), with all winners notified by July 31, 2026.
6. Prize / Donation: Each winning local nonprofit will receive a $500 donation from Ellafi Kind. Donations will be made directly to the nonprofit and are not transferable or redeemable for cash, or exchangeable for any other prize.
7. Consent to Use Submission: By submitting a nomination, participants grant Ellafi permission to use their name, story, and submission content for promotional, marketing, or publicity purposes without additional compensation. This may include featuring the nonprofit and/or participant’s story on Ellafi’s website, social media channels, and other marketing materials.
8. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment is required to submit a nomination or participate in the giveaway.
9. Limitation of Liability: Ellafi is not responsible for technical failures, website errors, lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete submissions.
10. General: Ellafi Federal Credit Union reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway at any time. All decisions made by Ellafi regarding eligibility, selection, and prize fulfillment are final.
