At Ellafi, we believe banking should go beyond money. It’s about people, community, and creating opportunities for good. That’s why we created Ellafi Kind, our charitable initiative dedicated to uplifting and empowering local communities.
This July, we launched our Ellafi Kind Nonprofit Giveaway, inviting members to nominate local nonprofits for a chance to receive $500 in support. Each week, we’re celebrating a new winner selected from member nominations and highlighting the incredible work they do every day.
And now, we’re excited to celebrate our third winner!
Congratulations to Social Sabby, nominated by Ellafi member Judith P.
Founded by Kevin Frederick, Social Sabby was created from a passion for helping children and young adults of all ability levels develop meaningful social connections. Through inclusive camps, recreational activities, social groups, and community programming, Social Sabby provides opportunities that encourage communication, confidence, self-esteem, and overall well-being.
Their mission is to foster an inclusive community by increasing autism spectrum disorder (ASD) awareness, education, and understanding in the greater Meriden area. By helping people better understand ASD, Social Sabby believes communities can become more compassionate, supportive, and connected.
Thanks to this nomination, Social Sabby will receive $500 from Ellafi Kind to help defray camp costs this August for up to 40 individuals participating in their programming.
We are honored to support Kevin and the Social Sabby team as they continue creating welcoming spaces where individuals of all abilities can learn, connect, and thrive.
✨ Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination. Your support helps us discover and celebrate the organizations making a meaningful difference throughout our communities.
