For Crystal T., her journey with Seasons has come full circle. What started as a childhood mentorship turned into a lifelong relationship built on trust, guidance, and financial empowerment. Her story is a strong reflection of both the Fortifi and Amplifi personas—focused on protecting what matters and building toward a more secure future.
A Relationship That Started in the School Cafeteria
When Crystal T. was in fourth grade, her elementary school participated in the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Mentor Program where Seasons Federal Credit Union was actively involved. She was paired with Robyn Swanson, who was Seasons Federal Credit Union’s Marketing and Membership Development Coordinator at the time. Every week, Robyn would visit Crystal during lunch, spending quality time together. Crystal fondly remembers Robyn bringing her lunch on some days, helping her with schoolwork, or even sharing a fun latch hook craft project.
What started as a school mentorship blossomed into a lasting relationship that continued throughout Crystal’s middle and high school years. The bond between the two grew even stronger beyond the program, and it endures to this day. Crystal, now a nurse, single mother, and a proud member of Seasons, attributes much of her success to the guidance and support she received through the years from Robyn, who is now Senior Vice President of Seasons FCU.

The Foundation of Fortifi
At 16, Crystal got her first job, and Robyn played a key role in helping her open her first account at Seasons FCU. Today, all of Crystal's accounts are with Seasons, and over the years, she’s turned to them for assistance whenever she needed it — including a loan for nursing school, first car, and holiday.
As Crystal ventured into adulthood and college, she found herself without much financial guidance from her parents. Thankfully, Seasons FCU filled that void, providing her with the support and resources she needed to navigate important financial decisions.
“A lot of schools don’t teach you about finance,” says Crystal. “But at Seasons, they take the time to explain things and break them down for you. That’s something you really need to learn at a young age.”
Planning Ahead with Amplifi
Although she's not ready to buy a house just yet, Crystal recently sat down with a Seasons Loan Representative to gain more insight into the steps she needs to take before she's ready. She received her credit score and now understands what she would be approved for if she were to apply today, as well as the steps to take to prepare for buying a home in the future.
